A Full Listing of over 6,000 Colorado Mountains
Summit List
| This is an extensive listing of summits in Colorado, ranked by elevation. Click on individual summit names to learn more about them and view a photo as well as an interactive topographical map of that summit. Each summit's weather forecast can be viewed by clicking on "Forecast." Click on "next" to see the next 130 summits, or dictate how many tho see at one time by using the "Display Num" dropdown. Links to other online guides for each summit such as Summitpost.org (SP.org) and 14ers.com are also shown. You can track your summit climbing progress by adding summits as being climbed by you with as much or as little detail about that climb. Scroll down to view the table or use the powerful search filter to narrow down summits based on a great number of criteria such as elevation tier, mountain range, county, prominence, class, etc. To find all summits that are 13,000 ft or above, you would filter for elevation between 13000 and 14000. You can also filter to only show ranked summits. While the possibilities are numerous, here are some examples:
- Find all 13,000 and 14,000 foot summits within the Elk Range that have a Yosemite Decimal Class rating between 3 and 5.9. - Find all summits in Rocky Mountain National Park with Omnidirectional Relief and Steepness (ORS or Spire measure) between 200 and 300. - Find all summits on a specific Quadrangle map with Prominence over 1000.
If you would like to track your summits, click the "add" button. If you would like to track non-summit hikes or failed attempts, search for the peak "N/A" and use it to track those hikes. For more on how to use this tool, see this video and this video.
